How Your Bespoke Name Necklace Is Designed

Once your order is placed, our design team will begin creating your chosen names or words in our signature lettering.

Each design is created individually, with careful attention paid to the spacing, balance and proportions of every letter so the finished necklace feels beautifully considered from end to end.

We’ll then send you a digital design preview to review and approve, giving you the opportunity to see exactly how your names will look before your necklace is made.

Once approved, your design is passed to our atelier to be crafted especially for you.

Solid gold, 9ct and 18ct

Choose 9ct, 14ct or 18ct solid gold, in yellow, white or rose. The 18ct is the richest, the 9ct the most hard-wearing. Fully hallmarked, solid throughout, never plated. The names sit around 8mm tall for a clear, balanced look, on an adjustable chain, with an optional heart between them.

How to style it

A necklace that already says everything, so let it lead. Wear it solo as your everyday, or drop it a little longer over a finer chain. Solid gold, so it goes from the school run to date night without a second thought.

Lead Times

All pieces are custom made and estimated production times are 3-5 weeks from purchase.

If your order is urgent, please email info@argent-asher.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note: the shipping method is included in the overall lead time of your piece, but does not expedite your order's production time.

Shipping

During manufacturing you will receive update emails notifying you of progress. Once your piece is ready to ship, we will email you with the tracking information. All jewellery requires a signature from the purchaser, in order to be delivered successfully.

FedEx International: 2-3 business days - excluding weekends and holidays

Customs

For international orders and shipments leaving the UK - there is a legal requirement to pay duty charges and/or VAT when arriving at the destination Country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty, Returns & Aftercare

Returns & 12-Month Cover for Jewellery purchased inside of the UK.

Most of our fine jewellery pieces are eligible for complimentary returns.

We understand that choosing jewellery is a thoughtful purchase, so if something doesn’t feel right, we aim to make the return process straightforward and reassuring.

Please note:
• Personalised and bespoke pieces can’t be returned unless there is a fault on arrival
• Faulty items must be sent back unworn and in their original condition
• Conditions apply, please see our full Returns Policy for details

Each Argent + Asher piece is made to order in our London atelier and includes a UK 12-month warranty covering manufacturing issues, such as:

• Stones becoming loose
• Settings or claws shifting
• Missing small stones
• Faults with clasps or chains

If a manufacturing issue occurs within this period, we will arrange a repair.

Resizing & Repairs

We offer resizing on selected ring designs.

Please note:
• Eternity bands cannot be resized
• Some styles are not suitable for adjustment
• Most rings can be resized within approximately 1–1.5 sizes of the original

If you’re unsure on sizing, it’s always worth confirming before ordering. It’s one of the most common concerns when investing in fine jewellery, and guidance is always available.

Repairs Outside Warranty

If your piece requires attention outside of the warranty period, or due to general wear over time, we can usually arrange a repair for a fee.

Each item is reviewed individually, and we’ll outline the options clearly before any work is carried out.
