What is a diamond ear jacket?

Two pieces that work as one earring. A pear-cut diamond sits at the front as a stud. The jacket slots on behind the lobe and fans five marquise diamonds out underneath, so the light sits under the ear, not just on it.

A marquise diamond design that moves with you

Five marquise stones, the long pointed cut, set in a graduated fan: longest in the centre, tapering out to each side. Front-on, you get a clean pear-cut diamond. Turn your head, and the fan underneath catches the light. It’s the kind of earring people notice without quite working out why.

Two ways to wear it

• Stud alone on the days you want something quiet
• The full fan when the outfit needs a focal point

Hand-set, never plated

Each of the six diamonds is claw-set by hand, held at the edges so the light gets underneath them rather than sinking into the metal. The gold is solid the whole way through, never plated over something cheaper.

Which gold should you choose?

The question we get asked most. A quick guide:

• 9ct: the hardest-wearing, and the kindest on price
• 14ct: the middle ground, a little richer in colour
• 18ct: the warmest colour and the most weight to it

All three come in yellow, white or rose, and all three are solid gold, so they’ll outlast the trend that made you want them.

All pieces are custom made and estimated production times are 3-5 weeks from purchase.

Shipping

During manufacturing you will receive update emails notifying you of progress. Once your piece is ready to ship, we will email you with the tracking information. All jewellery requires a signature from the purchaser, in order to be delivered successfully.

Customs

For international orders and shipments leaving the UK - there is a legal requirement to pay duty charges and/or VAT when arriving at the destination Country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty, Returns & Aftercare

Returns & 12-Month Cover for Jewellery purchased inside of the UK.

Most of our fine jewellery pieces are eligible for complimentary returns.

We understand that choosing jewellery is a thoughtful purchase, so if something doesn’t feel right, we aim to make the return process straightforward and reassuring.

Please note:
• Personalised and bespoke pieces can’t be returned unless there is a fault on arrival
• Faulty items must be sent back unworn and in their original condition
• Conditions apply, please see our full Returns Policy for details

Each Argent + Asher piece is made to order in our London atelier and includes a UK 12-month warranty covering manufacturing issues, such as:

• Stones becoming loose
• Settings or claws shifting
• Missing small stones
• Faults with clasps or chains

If a manufacturing issue occurs within this period, we will arrange a repair.

Resizing & Repairs

We offer resizing on selected ring designs.

Please note:
• Eternity bands cannot be resized
• Some styles are not suitable for adjustment
• Most rings can be resized within approximately 1–1.5 sizes of the original

If you’re unsure on sizing, it’s always worth confirming before ordering. It’s one of the most common concerns when investing in fine jewellery, and guidance is always available.

Repairs Outside Warranty

If your piece requires attention outside of the warranty period, or due to general wear over time, we can usually arrange a repair for a fee.

Each item is reviewed individually, and we’ll outline the options clearly before any work is carried out.
